Screwed up again!

Aww... man! I screwed the cosplay competition again. But then again, what do they expect me to do!? I understand that I posed too fast, but what about the stupid performance!? What the hell am I supposed to do with a bloody handphone!? I'm cosplaying a company president! What else can I do with a damn phone!?

I'd post some pics, but I can't seem to bother. If y'all had went to Gurney Plaza yesterday (29/6/08), then you'd have been able to see for yourself. Well, whatever, that's reality and it sucks, doesn't it?

Tagged again...

Actually, this was an e-mail tag, but I'll post it here. I reckon more people would continue the tag here.

Fill in your response with reference to anime/manga/video games.

10 characters you'd like to meet:
- Cloud Strife (Final Fantasy VII)
- Squall Leonhart (Final Fantasy VIII)
- Yuri Hyoga (Shadow Hearts)
- Vincent Valentine (Final Fantasy VII)
- Kami-sama (The Law of Ueki) (He rocks!)
- Tsukimiya Ayu (Kanon) *Uguu*
- Suzumiya Haruhi (The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi)
- Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII) (I'm not kidding)
- Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid)
- Haseo (.hack//G.U.)
I could name a whole lot more though...

10 characters you never want to meet:
- Piros the 3rd (.hack//G.U.) (Stupid background music!)
- Ito Makoto (School Days) (Most hated protagonist EVER!)
- Julius (Groove Adventure Rave) (He is SO not that beautiful)
- Azure Kite (.hack//G.U.) (I am NOT going to let a guy level down me from lvl. 133 to lvl. 1!)
- Katsura Kotonoha (School Days) (How could someone go THAT crazy just for one guy!)
- Cell (Dragonball Z) (I don't wanna be sucked, especially not by a needle!)
- Flonne (Makai Senki Disgaea) (She's cute but she's a love-maniac!)
- The Pain (Metal Gear Solid 3) (Bees! So many bees!)
Can't really think of anymore...

5 weapons you'd like to wield:
- Ten Commandments (Groove Adventure Rave)
- The Patriot (Metal Gear Solid 3)
- First Tsurugi (Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children)
- Evoker (Persona 3) (Technically not a weapon, but it looks like a gun, so that counts, right?)
- Gunblade (Final Fantasy VIII)

5 skills you'd like to know/master:
- Data Drain (.hack series) (I can go level down those snobbish high-leveled Maplers to lvl. 1 or just put them in a coma.)
- Unlimited Blade Works (Fate/Stay Night) (I can break as many swords as I want!)
- Nova (Final Fantasy VII) (I'll destroy you along with the entire solar system!)
- Oblivion (Final Fantasy X) (What could be better than being able to pull your opponent to hell and let the devil beat the crap outta him!)
- Blasting Zone (FInal Fantasy VIII) (It can make my sword so huge that it penetrates the atmosphere! How can I miss now!?)

Finally, arrange the three categories in order of preferences:
1. Video games (I'd rather be a part of the story than just watch it.)
2. Manga (They're often better than their anime counterpart and mangakas usually don't take a break)
3. Anime

Now that that's over, I'm gonna post song lyrics!

Get Your Game On!

We're chillin' out with the crew in the school yard,
Findin' trouble, never lookin' too hard.
Well back at class, they never taught us this,
But somethings you gotta learn, hit or miss.

Tough times, hard climbs,
We'll take 'em on together.
Right now, let's go!

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Generation Next!

Game on, get your game on,
Come on ya better play your cards right.
Game on, get your game on,
We'll make the grade and win this fight.

We'll make the grade somehow.
Yeah!

Game on, get your game on,
Come on ya better play your cards right.
Come on and get your game on...

Recruitment Time!!

We are a group of 6. Four of us are "kaki pontengs". Basically, people who find education AND fun equally important. Unfortunately, due to circumstances involving their future, 2 of the kaki pontengs have left Disted college. So, we are now trying to recruit a new member to join the "kaki ponteng" team.

The following are the requirements:

Compulsory:
- A Disted student
- Anime/manga fan (If you know at least 15 anime from my list besides Inuyasha and Bleach, then you qualify)
- Willing to skip classes (eg. REALLY boring tutorials.)

Recommended:
- Tolerant. (Insults will be thrown around more often than you think)
- Open-minded (religious, political stuff gets thrown around pretty often)
- A singer or at least willing to sing (Japanese songs and/or English oldies)

Optional:
- J-Pop fan (Well, Winger likes 'em. I ain't exactly picky when it comes to singers.)
- Gamer (My kind of guy/girl)
- A girl (A member of the opposite sex would be nice)

If you qualify, then come find me or Winger, if you know who we are. If you don't, ask someone. If you think this is a joke topic, well, WHO CARES WHAT YOU THINK?

Ten Commandments

This most definitely ain't a religious post! Frankly, I don't give a damn what the Christian's Ten Commandments say! I've lived my life so far perfectly fine even though I never read the Bible or Quran or any other holy book/s.

Anyway, Winger got me talking about Groove Adventure Rave today, so I thought I'd post a list of the forms Haru Glory's sword, the Ten Commandments, can turn into.

1. Eisenmeteor - The Metal Sword

- Quite heavy to allow the user to train him/herself to be able to withstand the 9 other forms
- Repels magic because it is made of pure metal.

2. Explosion - The Explosive Sword

- Creates an explosion upon collision into an object.
- Blunt at the edges

3. Silfarion - The Sonic Sword

- Increases the users speed.
- Not very sharp so it can't deal deadly blows.

4. Runesave - The Sealing Sword

- Cuts intangible objects, but can't cut tangible objects
- Seals magic

5. Blue Crimson - The Twin Dragon Sword
- One sword of ice and one sword of flames

6. Mel Force - The Vacuum Sword
- Creates a strong wind when being waved.

7. Gravity Core - The Heavy Sword
- Incredibly heavy and almost impossible to wave about.

8. Million Suns - The Solar Sword
- Shines brightly.
- Used to harm vampires and other demons who dwell in darkness

9. Sacrifar - The Bloodlust Sword
- Emotion and willpower is traded for power while using this sword
- If control is lost, the sword will take over the user.

10. Ravelt - The Holy Sword
- The ultimate form of the Ten Commandments
- The only sword that can destroy Sinclair, mother of all Dark Brings.

The Tale of Mr. Radio and Batteries

Mr. Radio was invited along to a beach party last night, as he was a portable radio. So, a few batteries were packed for Mr. Radio to consume for the night-out.

The night before the outing, Mr. Radio took a taste of batteries and suddenly, realised that his digestive system did not accept them even though his taste buds didn't reject the batteries. But, he didn't want to disappoint his friends, so he went for an operation on his digestive tract. After 2-3 hours, he finally could absorb the nutrients.

During the party, Mr. Radio started consuming the batteries while he played music to entertain his friends. But he soon realised that, despite the success of the surgery, there were other complications.

From time to time, the music would suddenly stop and play again. Then, sometimes, the music would keep replaying a certain part over and over. Halfway through the party, Mr. Radio could no longer skip songs. Towards the end of the party, he kept having error reading discs. That was the last straw and he started physically abusing himself, hoping that it would teach his body a lesson, but it didn't.

Finally, the party ended and Mr. Radio went home. He spat out the batteries and plugged himself back on. Then, to his surprise and enragement, music started playing with no further complications! "That's it! I'm retiring! I'm staying in the house! No more parties! No more outings!"

Based on a true story.

The anime conventions ain't over yet!

If you thought that the Ichibanzai Festival 2008 will be the last convention in Penang for a long time, you are damn wrong, mates! Here's the deal:

Name: ACGC 2008
Date: 27 - 29 June 2008
Venue: Gurney Plaza
Website: http://www.acgc.com.my

Alright!!! But then, darn... I don't have the time to make a whole new costume! Guess I'm going as Itsuki Iba again.

UWAAAAH!!!!

What the bloody hell is wrong with me!? ARGH!!!!!! AUGH!!!!! YAAAHHH!!!!!

huh...huh....hooh....phew...

AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

My Biology Paper 2 is tomorrow and my brain is functioning optimally. I can read and memorise everything just fine, so why the damn bloody hell do I want to scream so much!?

Is it because I have a story but can't seem to start it? Is it because the damn exam is still more than 12 hours away!? Is it because I haven't played my PS2 in a week? Is it because Ichibanzai ended? Is it because I saw that PS3 at Ichibanzai? Is it because I'm having trouble preparing my next cosplay? Is it because I still can't get Hare Hare Yukai right?

WHY!? WHAT IS IT!? GAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!

Sunday, June 8, 2008

Phew...

The last day of Ichibanzai 2008 is over. They held the solo cosplay again since there were no group cosplayers. So, I entered again. This time, I was more prepared. No trembling, no screw ups. But I still lost... Sigh... Oh well, not bad for a first-timer.

After that was band performance and some dancing. Hare Hare Yukai, Renai Rider and a dance from Lucky Star (can't remember which one).

So, I dedicate this to the dancers:

Hare Hare Yukai

One of the best dances out there.

Lastly, someone, please teach me how to dance Hare Hare Yukai!!!

Damn...

Ichibanzai 2008 today!! Entered the karaoke competition and forgot all the dance moves I prepared. Screw it! Winners were all females. That sorta ticks me off, but whatever. Then, I entered the Cosplay competition and I didn't know what to do up there. Performance screwed = epic fail! Character explanation also forgot a lot of things. Damn... Anyway, didn't win anything. Tomorrow will be free day for me since I didn't get into the karaoke finals nor do I have a group of cosplayers. Guess I'll play the live action RPG and stuff.

Well then... Damn it...
