Day 13 - Eating Sand and Buffet

I guess people noticed the lack of updates for Day 11 and Day 12. Well, that's because the events that happened were: Wake up, go to class, come back from class, kick back and relax, make dinner, eat dinner, relax again and sleep.

Today, the seniors took us to Marrion Beach. There, we TRIED to fly kites, but only one succeeded. The other 6 couldn't go any higher than 2m. So, aside from the successful one, the rest of us started playing Frisbee and monkey ball instead.

Our numbers continued to decrease as time went on. By 3pm, only the seniors and 2 first years were left (me and Germaine). We finally stopped when somebody accidentally kicked mud into my mouth when I was picking up the Frisbee. Ptooi.

By 7pm, we once again gathered at the 46A bus stop. At about 7.30pm, we arrived at Malaysian Hall. I'd have to say that it was disappointing. The building was recently renovated. Hence, it was almost completely empty when we got there. I was expecting a place with Malaysian flags all over or at least one big one, but nothing. The place was as empty as my stomach then (I skipped lunch).

See? It's only filled with people!

Ah well... whatever. The food was so-so with rice, chicken curry, fried bee hoon and some kuihs. Supposedly, there will be another gathering here for Hari Raya. I'll see if I can go.

The gathering dissolved at 9pm and I returned to my dwellings by 10pm.
