I'm talking about the anime, people, not the 2002 original Korean drama which greatly influenced the popularity of K-dramas Asia-wide.
Surprisingly, the anime is in full Korean language with Japanese subtitles. Even the OP and ED were in Korean although the opening "Cheoeumbuteo Jigeumkkaji" has a Japanese version titled, "Saisho kara Ima made". There is also a Chinese version called "Cong Kai Shi Dao Xian Zai". All of which are equally beautiful, although I'd say the Chinese one is the best, and the Japanese one is the worst (!).
Anyway, the first episode doesn't tell you much about the story. I'm not even sure if this is the beginning or the middle of the story (you know how some stories start from the middle or the end then flashbacks to the beginning). There was also very little conversation save for some monologues that indicates lots of back story. But I do have to say this, despite the lack of explanations, you can kind of feel a good story coming along. At least I did. Even though this is a romance anime, I might stick around for it.
I just got the OST of the original drama. But heck, this anime may open a path for me to loving Korean dramas!
