8 days to Ichibanzai 2009!
Panic attack! Joking.
I'm almost done with the armour. Only some paint jobs left... ...Oh crap! I just remembered I forgot about the shoes! Better get that done ASAP.
Dual guns are on their way to completion and as for the broadsword, I need a drill. My dual swords are still less than half done.
For now, at least I can complete the essentials. The additional weapons are just for showing off anyway. If only I could make my broadsword weigh a little more.
9 days to Ichibanzai 2009!
Yes, I realise that it is past 12am and should be 8 days left, but I didn't have the time to type today. I was on a roll until now. Now, I'll have to wait for the paint to dry a little before doing anything else.
I'm having problems attaching the holographic blade to my dual guns. It's not impossible per se, but kinda difficult since it involves very agile and accurate fingerwork so the transparent paper doesn't crumple or bend when you attach it to the metal wires. The metal wires are also quite hard to bend properly. Maybe I should just use them as a backbone instead of the whole skeleton.
Idea approved. I'll work on that later.
My tailor gave me the shirt and gloves already! But the gloves were 3 inches short! And the shirt is too tight. Well, it's not the tailor's mistake since the shirt is supposed to follow my body exactly, and the material I gave her was unstretchable. Increasing the zip about 3-4 inches should probably do the trick. At least, I won't need another person to help me wear and take off the shirt.
And I think I just ruined my dual swords. Crap... Better see what I can do.
Finally, I have DEFINITELY gone over budget for this cosplay. I've spent nearly RM200 on materials and most likely will exceed that tomorrow. I need more gold paint!
4 phase master plan needs revising. I pray for a drop in market price for the final phase.

Oh crap...
I'm sick, only a little, but with my lack of sleep, mental concentration is down to 55%. I probably won't even last till 1am tonight.
Ugh...
Well, looks like I'm gonna have to push myself some more.
And I forgot to scream:
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
Why?! Why?! Why did they have to suddenly announce that there was gonna be an English version for Mana Khemia 2?! And why the hell did they set the release date on August 25th!!?? No! No! No! No! No! No! ARGH!!! They announce another good RPG title before the end of the PS2 and I can't play it! GAH!!!
Oh well, I guess I'll get my mum to buy the game and I'll play it when I come back 3 years later.
10 days to Ichibanzai 2009!
Last night, I realised once again that I am VERY pressed against time! To make it worse, I didn't have any m0tivation to work last night! So, I just did some minor things that contributed less than 1% to the project.
Boooooooo.... I need more sugar! How can we be out of sweets so fast!?
Oh and I replayed the final battle of Valkyrie (1st story of 5) in Odin Sphere. Ahh... I recall playing that battle about 40 times before winning.
Lags are usually terrible. Most MMO gamers and PC gamers should know that better than anyone else. But not in this game.
2 of 5 final battles use lagging as a bonus to the difficulty (unintentionally, of course). If you think fighting those bosses are hard enough with normal speed, try fighting them in bullet time. And you're the target.
What causes the lag? Overcrowding. In Valkyrie, the final boss summons dead souls to swarm you, from both land and air.
It is possible to dodge all of those dead souls since Gwendolyn can glide, but difficult since they come in VERY large numbers and quite close together. And did I mention that you have to doge between the dead souls and not above or under? The other alternative would be smacking those boneheads since they shatter in one hit, but remember that you're dealing with a swarm and not just 4 or 5.
The other boss spits out the armour of the fallen knights it consumed. Sometimes, it's a giant metal ball bouncing around the map coming after you. Sometimes, it rains from the sky. MOST of the time, it's both. And that's where the lag comes in. Except this time, you can only stand in a safe place and can't dodge between the projectiles. Nor can you break the projectiles. Nice idea huh?
That's it! I'm gonna replay Odin Sphere 1 more time before I leave. Cubix, if you can find this game, get it! You won't be disappointed.

Why is it still called The Melancholy?
I am referring to the new season of Suzumiya Haruhi, of course.
The Melancholy arc has already been settled in the previous season. based on the first episode of this season, it should be called The Boredom of Suzumiya Haruhi (3rd volume title).
And even if they're gonna jumble up all the different volumes again like last time, they shouldn't have anything from to put in from the 1st volume of the light novels. They covered all of that in 6 episodes.
Well, they made a good choice starting with the time traveling chapter. I consider it one of the more entertaining parts of the whole series. But I guess it's the only chapter left in volume 3 that wasn't shown in the first season.
But I only read up to the 3rd volume. The terrible line speed makes it pretty frustrating to continue reading another 6 more volumes (Is volume 10 out yet? I haven't checked.).
Well, I pray that this season will be an entertaining one. Comedy is nice, but I'd like to see more of the serious parts of the series.
The previous season was pretty good if you liked the humour, Kyon's sarcasm and Hare Hare Yukai, but when it comes to storyline, it's like reading the first 2 chapters of a novel. It may be interesting, but it tells you little of the things ahead.
11 days to Ichibanzai 2009!
Sigh... I most likely won't be making the scythe anymore. No time, no materials.
Another darn thing is the karaoke competition. I recently got hooked to singing Brand New Map. I can nail a lot of the hard parts already except for:
I'm gonna be on my waa....aa...a..a....a*hack**cough*y...
Sigh... if it weren't for that part, I'd be doing this for Ichibanzai too. If I don't have time to practice that leaves me with just Crystal Energy and Sora.

12 days to Ichibanzai 2009!
Aaaawwwww... maaaaan!! Hime-sama went down to Johor for Matriculation, meaning that he won't be attending Ichibanzai 2009 either! That leaves Ah Meng, Cubix (probably), Youngblood (probably) and Justin Chee (1st day only)...
Sigh...
Well, my cosplay is still screwed. I'm pressed against time and I'm spending a little too much already. There's already more than RM80 spent on materials, not including my tailor's bill. Help! Me needs 4 more hands and 6 extra hours in a day! And a sponsor who will not ask for anything in return!
Falcon PUUUUNCH!!!

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete
I'm curious. Why hasn't there been any talk about this movie? Surely, I can't be the only one who knows about it, right?
Yeah well, can't blame you. I only found out that they're weren't talking about just putting the movie into Blue-Ray discs a few days after the Japanese release. And I only remembered today that I was supposed to be downloading it.
And no, it isn't just a port. It's a remake. They added extra scenes and SFX and even threw in Denzel's story from "On the Way to a Smile". I even saw a scene from the incident at the Mako reactor which caused Sephiroth's insanity.
"On the Way to a Smile" is a series of short stories written by Kazushige Nojima. The stories included the Denzel's background, Tifa and Cloud's relationship after the events of FFVII, what Aeris was doing in the Lifestream after she died and the lives of the other characters after FFVII. I've only read the first three I mentioned. I forgot about it afterwards until now. Damn, I'd better get looking for them online!
Anyway, I tried downloading the movie, but being Blue-Ray... the quality is magnificent from the trailers, but the size... ho boy... 12.5 GB, for a 120 minute movie including Denzel's story... ha...ha...ha... ugh... Guess I'll have to find the disc... which will probably cost hundreds... Sigh...
13 Days to Ichibanzai 2009!
First of all, many thanks to my dad for helping me settle one of the major problems about my cosplay. He not only suggested the method, he did the ENTIRE difficult part for me and made it look like a cinch! And he's now giving me advice on how to settle the other problems. I guess it pays to have a perfectionist dad that can actually do things perfectly.
Others are all talk, like me. Well, at least I have will and motivation! A little too heavy on the complaints and maybe a tablespoon too much of frustration though.
Now for the "I'm screwed" part.
Well, the gold paint cost me six and a half ringgit. I expected as much, but what I did not expect was that the paint was only enough for 1 layer on my broadsword! Help! I need about 2 or 3 to make it look nice! Sigh.. there goes more of my pay... I'm probably already over the budget I set for my cosplay, but that all depends on how much Auntie Jackie is gonna charge me.
Second problem, time. I have 12 preparation days left. And if I were to use up all of them, I won't have enough time to memorise song lyrics or prepare a cosplay performance! Better start looking for that audio editor and also the audio files I'll need!
And I'm giving up on the scythe unless I have at least 5 days for preparation. But even that might not be enough time.
Alright! Watch Tears To Tiara and then continue working till 3 am again! Sigh... I'm sleeping an hour later already... Argh!! I can't believe I woke up at 12pm today! 3 hours wasted!!

14 days to Ichibanzai 2009!
Yeah, my cosplay is still far from completion. I've merely completed a mere few things and most of them don't look nice close up. And there're a lot of things I still haven't done and some I still don't know how, but I have overcome several problems that have been plaguing me these past few days.
All that's left is to make prototypes of those ideas.
Heh... I probably look so cool right now compared to the past few days. No doubt I am still sleep-deprived, especially since I slept at 3.30am and woke up at 7.30am this morning. But I was on a roll last night. I lacked motivation until about 1am. And I kept working until I forgot the time. If I didn't look at the clock, I might have pulled an all-nighter.
But that's not the reason I feel so pumped right now. The real reason is that I just watched Tsubasa: Shunraiki episode 2, where Syaoran, Kurogane and Fye all are preparing for the final battle against Fei Wang Reed. Looking at their determination, I could feel some flowing into me as well. Unfortunately, the anime ends there and no new season has been announced yet, but I'm hoping for it.
But for now, cosplay cosplay cosplay. Game on!
And the animation was pretty sweet for Shunraiki. The Shaoran vs Shaoran fight was beautifully done! The only problem is that both of them look so similar, it takes a moment to be sure who's on screen at the moment.

15 days to Ichibanzai 2009!
Things are improving, but it sure is a long way from being perfect. Now that I've almost completed all the things I can do, I have to start worrying about things that I can't do or haven't thought of how to do. Man, I am working hard this year.
And to top it off, I suddenly have great ideas for special effects I can pull off during the performance. Problem is, I have 15 days, not 15 weeks!
I'd better start editing those audio files at work.

16 days to Ichibanzai 2009!!
I'll make an exception today and continue my cosplay work a little later. Well, it's not that I'm almost done. Heck, I'm barely 60% done and I have 16 days left! Damn bloody goddamn shit from hell!
Anyway, I'm giving myself a break today. I've been working on the cosplay a little too long and hard. Every night, I come back at 7.30pm, eat dinner, bathe etc and start working at 9pm until 2 or 3am.
Oh, the lack of sleep isn't bad. I'm already used to it from after so many Scout camps. However, it does make it harder for me focus. I'm already consuming sweet stuff in packets just to get the concentration I need. Kinda reminds me of pre-exam studies. It might be worse, since I was staring at that jar of sugar on the coffee table at work and actually craved it.
Being me, I resisted. Also being me, I ate some other sweet stuff. Praise my resilience!
Oh, and I just got a sort-of threat from my tailor. Since I've been busy the past few days, I haven't had the time to go buy the cloth she requested. Since she's doing this as a favour (well, she'll be charging me a lot less than other tailors), I obviously have to comply with her demands. Settled that last night, so no worries... hopefully.
Now then, for another Top *insert number here* list.
Top 5 cartoons (non-anime) I've watched:
#5 The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy
The series was stupid right from the start. The Grim Reaper challenging 2 little kids to a game of limbo to win the soul of their ungodly violent hamster (It attacks without mercy when you say "Kiss, kiss."). Billy is an idiot right down to his DNA. That goes without saying that he's the main comic humour. Yep, he's the kid who calls himself Billy the Baker and then fights flesh-eating zombies with a twig (in which he runs away 5 seconds later). Mandy doesn't really impress me as a character because there's just one rule: She can never lose. She took over the mind of a highly intelligent alien capable of mind control.
#4 The Fairly Oddparents
"I'm Cosmo! I'm Wanda! And weeeee're your Fairy Godparents!" This is a pretty funny series. I always find it amusing how they can screw up every wish no matter what. And they do a damn good job at making classic jokes and puns sound funny again. "Oo.. look how shiny that door is! Let's reach out to it slowly to savour the moment!" *Tense music plays while Timmy rushes to fix his wish before his mom and dad open the door*
#3 Codename: Kids Next Door
CKND is about a team of kids who are part of a worldwide organisation protecting children from adult tyranny. Any little kid who wants to get back at "those adult meanies" will enjoy this series. Children are mostly the good guys, while teenagers and adults are mostly the bad guys. I don't really agree with the idea that teens work together with adults but other than that, other relationships between kids, teens and adults are mostly true and put to the extreme. I just watched one episode and I was already hooked. And don't think that this series is all funny. When they start pulling out plans in a large scale war between children and adults, they throw in some seriously good plot twists!
#2 Spongebob Squarepants
The story of an undersea sponge and his daily adventures with his friends. Every episode is always enjoyable as everything can be turned into the funniest gags under the sea. I don't think I've met a single person who doesn't like this cartoon. I've watched the older seasons multiple times already, but I never seem to catch the newer seasons on Nickelodeon. Well, if I can find the whole box set, I'd certainly buy it.
#1 Tom and Jerry
Yep, this is the king of cartoons. An epic chase between cat and mouse. A simple theme which was as original during its time as the first prince saving princess story. And "epic" is perhaps an understatement since they just keep coming up with new and extreme ways to beat the crap out of each other. With only two main characters that hardly talk, it's amazing how they can keep every episode fresh. The cartoon has undergone several art style changes, but it has never failed to invoke hordes of laughter until this new idiot started making the side characters talk too much.

17 days to Ichibanzai 2009!!
I'm feeling a little despair in my stomach and some excitement in my chest. Which should I allow to fully influence me? I'm thinking a little despair with some hope so that I can rush and motivate myself to get working on my cosplay, which is still a mess.
Oh, they allow any karaoke songs in the competition this year so long as they're Anime/Video games/J-Pop. You just have to bring your own if they don't have.

Stray Thoughts (17th Platoon)
Okay, cutting sales dockets gives me lots of time to ponder about random things, but if you know me, random thoughts = philosophical/life issues. Mostly.
Oh, nobody knew that? Well, I guess not many people really know what goes on in my head. Another excellent example of Joshua's statement.
And for the record, I've lost count of how many stray thoughts I've actually had. 17th Platoon is just a Chrome Shelled Regios reference and I think I'll start from there.
Well now, for the main body of this post:
The world isn't filled with retards.
Yes, you heard me right. And many of you disagree, I bet.
The only retarded people in the world are... well... people who are medically classified as retarded.
Throughout my life, I've met many people. And a hell lot of them often refer to a person or a group they don't like as retards. "Idol A sucks! These people like Idol A? I swear they're retarded!" "How can you not like Video Game A! You must be retarded!" "This guy is fat! He must be so retarded that food and eating are the only things programmed in his head!" and so on and so forth.
Also, there are people who like to criticise idols and celebrities. I've noticed people swearing at popular names like Zac Efron, the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana etc. for whatever reason I don't know or care. Thing is, these people have fans. It means they have to be good in something. And now some of you will argue that their fans are retards too. These people have brains too, y'know. They must like these stars for a reason only they can fully comprehend.
Plus, idols are putting their names and faces out front and showing their stuff. They're fully aware that they will receive both fan mail and hate mail, and perhaps more of the latter. So they're doing their best, carefully doing things so that no scandal about them can ever be publicised. A controlled life where everything they do could affect their entire career and future. I'm no longer surprised at how many fallen stars there are. Let's see you people try living like that.
Trends are also a popular target for branding retards. Clothes or accessories attract some people and repels others. The result is a flame war between both sides. For me, there's nothing wrong with following trends, even if you're just following them for the sake of following. It's your right. But, many people out there are bashing other people for following trends.
Here are some fun facts: Calling other people "retards" is also a trend, not following trends are also a trend and anime and video games are a trend. The last fact is meant for those people on GameFAQs who keep screaming that trends are stupid.
What else? Ah, it's been a long day so I can't remember some other things I thought of then. So I think I'll just skip the examples.
People are different. Each person has his/her own way of thinking, his/her way of doing things and his/her way of living. Whatever appeals to him/her may not appeal to some 2 billion other people out there, but what does it matter to him/her?
He/she likes it, so he/she does it. That doesn't make him/her retarded, that just means he/she is enjoying life.
And if you still want to shun people who behave differently, you can go join Billy over there. He thinks, "Just because people are different, doesn't mean you have to be scared of them. In fact, you should be ANGRY at them!! Why do you people gotta be different!? My life not good enough for you people!?" And by the way, Billy's the kid who decides to fight an army of flesh-eating zombies with a twig.
Edit: If anyone thinks this post is directed to him/her, don't flatter yourself. This is a general post and wasn't aimed at anybody.
18 days left
Oh man... my tailor just decided that she doesn't have the time to do most of the things she said she could do, so I just got more things to complete. Well, at least she gave me ideas on how to do them. I still don't get how she wants me to do the belt though...
Last night, I was hoping to at least complete the shape of Haseo's knee guards, but what do you know? My dad came in and started commenting on how it won't look nice. I agreed, since I could see that too.
However, he did give me a wonderful idea of how to make it. In fact, I believe it is perfectly possible and will look pretty good. BUT... the process is time-consuming and very tiring since it involves bending lots and lots of metal wires. THICK metal wires. Sigh... better leave this for last then.
Right...list of things I have problems with:
1. Knee guards.
2. Getting yellow vinyl for the belt (Time and transport problem)
3. Getting started with the scythe.
4. Carving the dual swords.

Me bro strikes again
Argh! He just ruined my speakers! He went ahead and pressed the silver bubbles on my speakers that worked as amplifiers and stabilisers. The soft material curved inwards and now I can't make it curve back out.
Now, not only has the volume decreased, I also hear static whenever there's audio due to diffraction of sound waves caused by the creases on the bubble.
And the stupid designers put together the thing so that you couldn't remove the shell enclosing the other half of the bubble. So, I can't push the bubble back out... Crap. And I just bought it last year end at 60 bucks! Now I have to use the headphones which hurt my head and the back of my ears if I wear them for too long!
Damn! First my PS2 controllers, then my cards, then my glass paper, then my DS screen (it already has scratches! Can you believe that!?) and now my 60 buck speakers!
I am so worried about what would happen to my stuff once I leave for Ireland. My PS2 better still be functional when I get back! And I can't put it in a box cause the kid might find the box and shake it around! No, I am not exaggerating. He's done it once and broke some of my mom's glassware because of that.
F Everything
The above is a blog title belonging to Ennui Ouji, the Prince of Shibuya. The guy's an idol and I can see why. He Fs everything he likes and anything that gets F'd on his blog instantly becomes a big hit.
Okay... I can see that some of you people are getting the wrong idea... The following dialogue should dispel any dirty/rude thoughts in your head.
Ouji: This ramen is F! F this ramen!
Ramen owner: Uhh... Is that supposed to be a compliment?
Ouji: Absolutely! After all, F stands for "Fabulous"! Ahh... how I've missed this ramen...
Got it memorised?

Flying solo
I just received a phone call regarding my flight to UCD today and apparently, I'm the ONLY ONE in Penang who will be going to UCD. No other Penangites whatsoever, meaning that there's absolutely zero chance of me going there with someone I know.
That's not exactly a bad thing. I'll just make new friends when I arrive in KL and also when I start my semester in UCD. It might be hard, but I'm hoping for at least one otaku among the 59 others I'll be flying with.
The bad thing is my flight date. August 30. The good thing is the time, 11pm. But I'll have to catch the 7.30pm flight from Penang to KL, so that means that my birthday will be a pretty hectic day. Oh well...
Hmm... I wonder if I should pull out one last party before I go... But then again, what's the point? The majority of my friends are gone. Wilson, Bing Yuan, Song Qiang, Ah Seng Ko, Carol, Cubix... etc etc. Some of you down in KL might be able to make it back, but I doubt I should trouble y'all.
So that leaves Pikaby, Craz1, Shao Hua, Chong Pin, Hime-sama, and some of my ex-brother Scouts. Meh, don't see the point. I think I'll just go visit all of them at their homes or meet up with them in school or something. Yay! A whole day spent gaming with Pikaby and Craz1!
P.S. Don't take this for a melancholic post. I'm pretty excited about going. Look forward, move forward. That's how it's all supposed to be. Looking back hardly helps.

The World Ends With You
I was hoping to start this game after I head to Ireland, but I couldn't resist its calling. Besides the ported Final Fantasy and Chrono trigger games, this is perhaps the best RPG on the DS.
Plot Summary: Neku Sakuraba is an anti-social teenager who, in a nutshell, wants no one and needs no one in his life. One day, he wakes up in the middle of the streets of Shibuya with all his memories, save for his name, gone. On top of that, monsters start appearing from weird symbols and attacks him. Fortunately, a girl named Shiki appeared and forged a pact with him, allowing them to gain the power to defeat the monsters. Neku then learns that he is now a player in the Reaper's Game and he has to survive for seven days while clearing missions or face erasure.
SPOILER WARNING!!
This part should only be read if you're sure you don't want to play the game.
The story actually centers around human relations rather than a fight for survival. For one, the monsters don't even attack you unless you pick a fight with them, except the bosses and the Taboo Noise (which are introduced in Round 2).
Now, for a brief description of the Reaper's Game. The game goes on for a span of 7 days. Players have to survive the 7 days by clearing missions on each day while avoiding the Noise summoned by Reapers. Those who survive the 7 days are graded and those who are worthy are given a second chance at life. And forgive me for not mentioning that the Players are all people who just died. Of course, entrance isn't free. You have to bet the most valuable thing to you if you want to enter. You will, of course, get it back if you survive the 7 days, regardless of whether you are reborn or not.
Oh, and if you think that this game only has 7 days, you are very wrong. Neku did not just enter the game once nor twice. He entered it 3 times. So he had to bet thrice. Poor guy.
The first time, he bet his memory since it was the only thing actually precious to him. The 2nd round, he had to bet Shiki because he grew attached to her and she was returned to life in the 1st round. The 3rd round is just plain absurd. Neku started caring about every Player who entered the Reaper's Game and made it his duty to protect them. So... his participation fee for the 3rd round was... EVERY PLAYER IN THE GAME!!
Why is that bad, you ask? Players can only play the game and avoid the monsters by forging a pact with another Player. In other words, you must participate as a team of two if you hope to even live for 5 minutes. With every Player gone... holy hell! Well, he got through that somehow, but I'm not telling. You just have to know that there was one small loophole.
END OF SPOILERS!!!
Now for gameplay, it's very easy to pick up and very easy to play, but it IS UNGODLY HARD to master. Why? Because you have to control 2 characters in real-time combat, one with the stylus, and the other with the directional pad (though he will become AI-controlled if you don't control him for some time). And each character fights in a different screen.
Neku fights with psychs, which he gains by wearing different pins. Pin have different types of abilities. The ones I've encountered so far are Shockwave (slash-type), Pyrokinetic (flame), Force Rounds (projectile), Telekinetic (moving objects), Recovery (healing) and some others I've never really used.
Your partner fights using buttons on the directional pad. 3 rounds means that Neku had 3 different partners, and each of them has a different style of combat. All three of them has one common point. They only have three different combinations in one combo attack, and each final strike in one combo will show different symbols.
There is also a special ability called Fusion. Basically, you have to fulfill certain requirements which involve matching the symbols on top of your partner's screen using different combos. When you acquire a certain number of stars by matching the symbols, you can throw out a Fusion attack which damages all opponents and heals HP. But thanks to the dual screens and characters, it is REALLY hard to actually match the symbols, especially since the AI is stupid and Neku will get beaten into a pulp if you decide to spend longer than 10 seconds focusing on your partner.
This game also introduces the Trends system, where wearing pins or equipments of certain brands will increase or decrease Neku's power. Well, the game is located in Shibuya, Japan's capital of trends, so this probably shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.
The BGM and other music consists of mostly modern day pop and rock. I can find them either catchy or irritating depending on my mood. That's the gist of it since I'm not really a music fan.
OK, you guys who are using DS emulators can try this game, but I wouldn't recommend setting the difficulty to any higher than Normal. You might not be able to control Neku fast enough. But at least you'll have less problems controlling both characters since the screens are so close together (unlike the DS). Oh, and pray that it doesn't lag like Advance Wars: Days of Ruin.

Will y'all please stop calling me everyday!?
Every day, I get a call from at least one girl. And then we'll start chatting (mostly her) and waste some 10 minutes of my time. Frankly, it's getting annoying. I can feel my muscles tensing whenever the phone rings.
"Why won't you ladies call someone else for once?!"
One of them even got my MSN contact! And another wanted to get my Skype contact. It's a damn good thing I don't use Skype or I'd never be able to leave the computer.
Sigh... this matter has taught me 2 things.
1. Most accountants, clerks, secretaries etc. are girls!
2. Girls are REALLY REALLY annoying when they demand payment.
Edited. (the order was wrong)

Nipples!!
Got your attention? However, this time, I'm not throwing random words to catch your attention. Youngblood already knows why, but since none of you blasted idiots are ever online on MSN, I'll tell y'all here.
Queen's Blade. Got it memorised?
Here's the plot summary. The greatest females warriors in the land are going to battle to become queen. No rules. And the whole world is their battlefield.
In other words, a global scale cat fight. "Woohoo! I'm so gonna love this!!" or so I thought...
Now, an all female cast will undoubtedly contain ecchi (especially when all of them have big boobs). Any quarter-baked otakus who've watched anime from different genre should know that. And I was prepared for that.
Episode 1 first minute, two girls meet and fight. The animation was OK, not high quality like FFVII: AC or Code Geass, but at least not crappy. 2nd minute, taunting between opponents, but it was clear that one of them is significantly weaker. 3rd minute, a new character is seen to be hiding nearby while observing the two. 4th minute, "kya!" and you see the weaker girl's clothes torn slightly. 5th minute, "OMG WTF IS THAT!!??" the stronger girl starts spewing acid out of her VERY CLEARLY drawn nipples and the acid melts away the weaker girl's sword and her clothes revealing more nipples.
And the key to defeating that strong girl was to seal the holes spewing acid... Watching that scene made me want to puke...
I was sooo hoping for a good action anime at last... but I get this. There is no way in hell I'll be able to continue watching this. Not because my teenage sexual hormones will explode from the explicit scenes, but because my mom will definitely be screaming the all-time mother's classic "What the hell are you watching!?"
Right...delete. And to think I've downloaded 6 episodes... What a waste of time.
Winger, you wanted to read erohon, why not go for this anime? The terrible animation and confusing scene changes later on will make you hate it very much. But hey, there's uncensored boobs for you to see, right?
P.S. I can't wait for your comment.

Outages
Blogger seems to keep having scheduled outages lately... Did something happen? Could it be that a team of professional hackers have entered their main computer and are stealing information from every user that visits Google-related sites? And they're sending a special team of anti-hackers to fight them whenever the hackers are detected? Are they winning or are they still investigating the identities and motives of the perpetrators? Or could it be worse? Could it be... that... that... that... ET the Game has been programmed into the system and all the operators have died from the sheer suckiness of the game?!
*Ahem*
Oops... Yes, mom. No crazy fantasies... even if they might be true... and if they may involve Chuck Norris being beaten up and eaten by potato-shaped people or people-shaped potatoes.
*Clonk*
Oww... Alright, alright. No more fantasies. Just stop hitting with that frying pan! .....That you probably got from a shop with dark purple curtains and filled with shelves containing lizards tongue, dragon hearts, puppy dog tails etc etc. And there's that old shopkeeper who keeps hugging that gothic doll, always grinning and talking in riddles. She probably told you that the frying pan will forever make me your humble slave and it will be yours in exchange for your s..
*Bang! Bam! Whap! Whack! Bonk! Clonk!*
Yes, mom. Your orders?
.....Good luck guessing what she exchanged by the way.

Complaints, complaints and more complaints...
Ugh... Everywhere I go on the net, it's been complaints here, complaints there. My friends are complaining about exams or life, GameFAQers have been complaining about how Square-Enix is so slow in releasing epic games like FFXIII and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, allies in Tribal Wars have been complaining about how slow I'm growing compared to the others, dad complaining about customer not paying up, mom complaing about sister being lazy, sister complaining about mom etc. etc.
And now I'm complaining about everyone complaining!
It's a damn good thing I went out with Hime-sama and Pikaby today. These two people have the least things to complain about in life. Heck, the moment they met, they were already discussing Pokemon in terms as unknown to me as the location of Japan is to America (Hetalia reference).
The only complaints I heard were mine and Hime-sama's about how Pikaby is torturing us all the way to hell with "2000"-titled songs on Oni mode, e.g. Kita Saitama2000, Yokuderu2000, Mechadon2000 etc. Note that even Pikaby has problems clearing the first song mentioned.
My hand hurts and I got a blister on my thumb. I'm gonna have problems bathing later.
Anyway, regarding the topic, I will now try to refrain from complaining about anything once I go to medical school. I quote Jason, "Most of us want to commit suicide, but we don't have the time." In other words, I'll be seeing hell and brimstones the moment I set foot on Irish soil. Then again, I might not have the time to even THINK of complaints until summer holidays start.
Right, cosplay, cosplay, time to get working on my cosplay.
P.S. If I can memorise the lyrics in time, and if I can get the performance right, I'll be doing Gekkouka for the karaoke competition and hopefully score a few points for the people's choice awards with that.

Right...
Well, it seems the games I bought didn't turn out to be what I had expected.
First off, Eternal Poison. Seeing the word "Atlus" at the bottom right corner of the cover and reading about 5 tales in 1 immediately led me to think that this was gonna be another Odin Sphere. I loved Odin Sphere, so I bought this game in hopes of getting an exciting (and insanely hard) action RPG. But to my surprise, it turned out to be a gothic fantasy-themed tactical RPG. The graphics are good, and the voice acting is good (in a creepy way, being gothic and all) but it just wasn't what I expected. Oh well, let's just see how this compares to Disgaea or Final Fantasy Tactics.
Second is Tales of Legendia. I expected lower quality art since it's an older game and I was right. They still used the tiny characters instead of fully drawn characters during regular scenes. The anime scenes are still beautiful though. The voice acting is a little off. And the battle system is different. It's still real time action battles, but the battlefield seems 2D instead of 3D. Sigh... I hope it doesn't turn out bad. I was actually hoping to find Tales of Symphonia since I heard it's the best of the Tales series. Oh, and I noticed that the company's name was Namco. Wow... this game IS old. In case most of you didn't know, Namco no longer exists... alone. Now, everything they make is trademarked Bandai-Namco.
But I can't afford to get hokked onto these games. My cosplay is still barely halfway done. I haven't painted any weapons I've completed and I haven't even started on the armour, the broadsword and the scythe (especially the scythe!). Damn I'm late!
